Do what thou Wilt shall be the
whole of the Law.
On Die Sol, just as Sol entered Aries (7:21 pm EST), March 20, 2011, the Temple was opened and the Calls of the 1st and 6th Angelic Keys were made to open the Work of the Fire Tide, and commence Anno IVxix (107) of the New Aeon of Horus. This was followed by a First Order Initiation of an Aspirant (as a Childe of Yesod) who took the motto ACh Hermes Ra (W. Scholz) The Ritual to Celebrate the Festival of the Equinox was then performed by Frater N·.·A.·. and ACh Hermes Ra on behalf of all Nu’s Children.[1] The Auguries received during the Ritual, and their Message, are offered below.
The Word of the Equinox: The first “shall” (after “righteous”) from Chapter II, Verse 57 of Liber Legis (II:57) (Divined from Liber XXXI).
The Verse from II:57 reads – “He that is righteous shall be righteous still; he that is filthy shall be filthy still.” This being from Chapter II, it is Spoken by our Lord Hadit, who is the Primal Male Expression of Nuit’s Being. The Word of the Equinox stresses the first part of this verse about being righteous. So, what does it mean to be “righteous” in our Holy Work, and how is this particularly important now, compared to, perhaps, other times of the Solar Year?
Consider that an Aspirant of the First Order learns to focus the Eye rightly on Spirit, the Holy Guardian Angel (the “HGA”) and the Love of God to set the Pentagram aright within the Sphere of the Childe so the Childe may complete the Work of the First Order and attain to the Second Order.
Consider also the progression. An Aspirant of the Second Order focuses on
Attaining the Knowledge and Conversation of the HGA and, once attained, hears
the Voice of the HGA who Guides the Childe through every thought, word and deed
as to the Nature of the Childe’s Great Work in and out of the
A Childe of Tiphareth discovers His True Self, and learns His True Will. Once the Childe hears the Voice of the HGA and is charged to perform certain Work, the Childe then faces the ordeals of doing that Work. This is not always easy, as the Aspirant does not always hear what the Childe “wants” to hear.
After the Work of the Childe of Tiphareth is completed, and the Childe attains to the Upper Astral Plane (also called the Solar Plane), the Childe is charged under Oath of doing only True Will, and nothing else, in every thought, word and deed. This can be a very difficult phase of Initiation for most Children (as all remaining qliphothic parts are shed), but one of great importance. In doing only True Will, the Childe Truly Becomes a Mighty Warrior of the Sun, and the Sword of Chesed, prosecuting the Law established in Chesed by the Word issued from Chokmah. In this New Aeon of Horus, the Great Initiation is into the Work of the Childe of Geburah, who, in doing only True Will, is “righteous” in thought, word and deed.
While an Initiate is “climbing” the Tree of Life to eventually undertake the Work of the Childe of Geburah, the Childe is righteous by rightly focusing the Eye on the Love of Nu, and the Work from the Childe’s perspective on the Tree (as generally described above). We are charged here to do our best in this regard, while balancing all of our obligations.
The Vernal Equinox marks the beginning of a New Solar Year, which abounds with new opportunities. Seize them, day by day. The Vernal Equinox also marks the beginning of the Fire Tide, where new Magickal Currents “rush in” and may be used to plant “holy seeds” which shall grow throughout the Solar Year. Use these new currents wisely and well, to now plant holy seeds to further your Initiation and Great Work, and rightly develop your Appointed Roles and charges. Now is the time. Do not delay. Make your projections, and act righteously in nurturing and evolving the seeds you plant, so they may grow and blossom throughout the year.
The Hebrew gematria of “shall”
spelled in English is Shin (300), Aleph (1), Lamed (30) and Lamed (30), which
equals 361. Words with the same
numerical mean: God of Malkuth; men or
impurities; foundations; and
The Word “shall” in Hebrew is spelled נצא. The gematria here is Nun (50), Tzaddi (90) and Aleph (1), which equals 141. Words having the same numerical value have the following meanings: robust; gathered, collected; precept; trusty, steady; and Prima. From this, We Divine the Initiates Becoming strong for God, gathered and Working together, serving as constant, steady Guides in the Great Work as God’s human hands here on Earth. We also behold, from the construction of this Hebrew word, the Emperor (attributed to Tzaddi and the Zodiacal Sign of Aries) at Work, supported by Nun (a reference to Nu, and also to Scorpio and the Serpent Power) and Aleph (which corresponds with Spirit). The number 141 also reduces to 6, which references the Tiphareth, the Sun, Vau Tetragrammaton (the Son) and the HGA.
Initiates must try to allow themselves to be Moved as Righteously as possible until they receive the Great Initiation into the Work of the Childe of Geburah, and learn to do True Will (and nothing else) through every thought, word and deed. In so doing, you will assist in fulfilling the sole Law of Thelema which is “Do what thou Wilt”, i.e., do True Will. This is the whole of the Law. Do that, and no other shall say nay! These simple words are so Guiding.
Know Childe that the
Tarot Card for the Equinox: The 10 of Swords (entitled “Ruin”).
This Card is a “10”, which corresponds with Malkuth and Assiah. It is in the suit of Swords, which corresponds with the element of Air, and further references the Ruach (the mind), reason and the intellect. Considering these correspondences together, they reference the mind, reason and intellect of the Children of Earth.
We are constantly being guided, moment by moment, as to our Course of Action and Work. However, how few Children hear the Word?! The issue is one of perspective. If a Childe abides in the lowest Spiritual Spheres on the Tree of Life, the Childe has not tamed the physical senses as of yet and placed them in service of Spirit, and so is lead around like a hungry animal trying to satiate itself without any real course of direction. Is this how to live? Is this all there is? The lack of clarity causes anomalies in human conduct. As nations, there is lack of direction of government and war. On a more human level, there is crime, mistreatment, anger and hatred.
The 93 Current is strong!!! The Angels in this New Aeon are militant in that they have been charged to do what must be done to Initiate more Children and evolve a race of men and women who are Initiates doing True Will, yea governed by the Law of Thelema, so they may in turn serve as Sources of Light and Love to others and assist in furthering the Great Work here on Earth. So what will it take?! As discussed repeatedly in other papers issued by the Sanctuary, the sole choice given to a Childe of Earth is how to focus the Eye, yea your Aspiration. This is initially done with the animal will, which must be tamed and spiritualized, so it may eventually be shed. If you focus the Eye on the Light and Love of God, and the Great Work, the Angels shall teach and assist in setting the Pentagram aright within your Sphere. As this occurs, you may enjoy the pleasures of Earth rightly (no God will deny you these) and the Guidance you are receiving will become less muddled and even “clear as a bell” as progress is made. Conversely, if the animal within runs wild, and your focus is on selfishness and on accumulating material things, the Pentagram will be averse within your Sphere and the demons shall teach! You choose, and choose carefully. The repercussions extend far beyond your own Sphere, which is a point to be stressed in this Message.
This Card is entitled “Ruin”, which is informing as to the Message here. If we go back in human history, it was filled with disease, pestilence, wars and disasters, which assisted in turning the Eyes of the Children to God, and furthered Initiation as the Children feared for their lives. Now, we have better medicine and more evolved means of living and sustaining life, yet the focus of mostly all humans is on selfishness and the material, superficial life. Things are not right. So what is to occur? If the Children do not turn their Eyes to God, and do not try to evolve Magickally and Spiritually, then their Eyes will be turned for them. Let the Word be heard!!! There will be more war, natural disasters and other “horrific” events, like those we have recently and are presently experiencing on Earth, to cause right focus of the Eye. There will be Ordeals, many more Ordeals, until we begin to lead ourselves rightly as Children, as nations and even more collectively as the human race. All is by Grand Design. There are no accidents in Nature – NONE!
So what do we do? There is no-thing else we can do but do our part. We begin with evolving ourselves, and then assist with the evolution of others. This is how we are to lead Enlightened, Loving Holy Lives, nurturing and supporting each other (our charges) in common development. There will always be a wayward Childe. Look down upon that Childe only to pick him up! We are at a crucial point in the evolution of the human race, now 107 years into this New Aeon. Progress must be made, and it shall be made. Be prepared, and take action now to do your part. The Holy Work must not be left undone!!!
This Card is also attributed to Sol in Gemini. Behold Sol and Thoth at Work, Guiding the Children. All is not lost. To the contrary, our Universe is filled with no-thing but opportunity. Seize the opportunities now!!! Do not delay. By undertaking the Great Work of Magickal, Spiritual and Material Evolution, and persevering in the Work, you heal and assist in the healing of your charges and the human race. This also assists in minimizing certain types of Ordeals that might otherwise be necessary, perhaps on a more global basis. The best way to combat what is not right is to focus on what is right, yea what is “righteous”. By doing so, what may seem to be in ruin may evolve into some-thing wonderfully more Beautiful! Let it so evolve!
The Light of our Lord the Sun came not to bind, but to free humanity. Clean-up your act!!! Do your Holy Work!!! Hear thou the Word of your God, and be Guided moment by moment in all that you do. You are being given healthy, balanced, Systems of Initiation (through the Sanctuary and other manifest Portals of Initiation) to assist you in evolving and doing your Work. Use them. Pray unto Nu and the Holy Names of God, and shall the Kisses of Nu rain hard upon you!!!
I-Ching Hexagram for the Equinox: The 25th Hexagram, Wu Wang / Innocence (The Unexpected) (the Creative, Heaven above; the Arousing, Thunder below), with moving lines in the first, second, fifth and sixth places; changing to the 40th Hexagram, Hsieh / Deliverance (the Arousing, Thunder above; the Abysmal, Water below).
The message of the 25th
Hexagram is simple. When we move in
accord with the Law of Heaven, and are doing True Will, things are “righteous”
and we attain an unsullied innocence in acting, without ulterior motive of any
kind. This type of movement is “Natural”, which brings in the idea of the
unexpected. When we move in this way, which is the
The moving line in the first place: Follow your Heart, but bring your brains along. Pause will be given when necessary in the Holy Work to make sure actions are righteous.
The moving line in the second place: In every thing you do, from the smallest task to the largest task, act solely out of Holy Duty, with Love in your Heart and the Light in your Eye, and without any considerations of personal gain or result. Then, things shall proceed righteously.
The moving line in the fifth place: When ordeals arise from without, serve as a Compassionate Witness, observe them and their Holy Purpose, and allow Nature to take its course in resolving them. You have your Appointed Roles to fulfill and your Work. Others have their Holy Tasks and Ordeals, which you must let them address. Do your Work, and do it righteously. All else will proceed from there.
The moving line in the sixth place: Act when it is your Duty to Act. Take care to act only when the time is ripe, not before and without delay. It is not enough to hear the Word, you must timely Act on it as Appointed.
The 40th Hexagram: Sweet is Truth!!! When we Move in the Way described above, tensions are relieved, obstacles are removed and difficulties are resolved. Life is an ongoing Divine Drama, with you and each other Childe being the central actor for God in that Drama. When ordeals arise, as Initiates, We face them as Appointed with Courage and Determination. Truth Triumphs!!! We act in Accord with the Law, by doing True Will, out of Duty and Love. This is the Law of Thelema. This is the Law of Heaven. What is Ordained shall be!!! Until you have attained unto Geburah, you have a choice of how to use your animal will. Try to use it as righteously as possible as an Offering of Love and Devotion to your God. In so doing, you will find Joy in the Work, which has a liberating and stimulating effect. Strong is the Light!!!
Let these Words not be
misinterpreted in any way. Our Work
emulates the Glories of God, yea the Glories of Thelema, which are Light, Love,
Clarity fosters righteousness. Initiation fosters clarity. Initiation fosters righteousness.
Our Work has ever expanding influence. This is especially the case as Initiation occurs, as We Work in ever expanding Spheres of Influence. We Work from the Interior of the Universe, where movement is easy. Consider then what a difference your Work can make by performing your Holy Duties and furthering your Initiation.
Now is the time to make projections which will evolve throughout this Solar Year, this Solar Tide and, more immediately, this Solar Cycle. Use these strong Magickal Currents available to you now wisely and well. By doing so, you will further your clarity and your ability to Move Righteously in accordance with the Law, and assist in making this Earth a better place for everyone. Amen.
