Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

 

            Arise each day praising your God as you awaken.  Sing “Praise, Glory and Worship, Love and Devotion to the Holy Names of God” in your Heart. 

 

If you can arrange your schedule, make your practice in the morning hours at a time when you will not be disturbed.  Commencing your Holy Work before sunrise is strongly recommended if possible.  However, it is better to practice than not practice at all, so take whatever time is given to you to contemplate and perform the Holy Work.  This turns your Eye to God, until it is always so turned.  It is best to dedicate a period of time every day to your Work, no matter how long or short it may be.

 

Give thanks in all that you do and experience.  Renounce selfish works, and surrender the rewards of your Work to God.  Remember, there are no mistakes and there is nothing to forgive.  Learn from your all of experiences.  Draw upon them.  Allow them to be guiding to you.  Seek insight into what you have just experienced and the Holy Work appointed for the coming day.  Allow your mind to be calm and free, so you can examine the current of thought that you receive.

 

When performing your Holy Work, you are encouraged to use incense which is in correspondence with planetary correspondence of the Magickal Day.  This will help attune your mind to currents of the Day.  There is another paper issued by the Sanctuary entitled “A Charge (Applied in the context of preparing some Incense)” which may be used to assist you in charging the incense, if this is something you have time to do.  You are encouraged to do this.  This other paper is referred to below.

 

The following is a Ritual of Daily Conjurations which may assist you in opening your Temple in Ygdrasil and turning your Eye to God, as suggested above, so that your Eye may be opened to the Great Work appointed for the Day, the nature of the Work and how best to perform and accomplish the Work.

 

As preparations, you will need a small table placed in the far North of where you will be working.  Place a copy of the Sigil of Aemeth on the table and a small lit white candle behind it.  You will also need an incense stick of your choosing.  It is best if the incense is in correspondence with the Work, or of a formulation appropriate for general magickal workings (such as a Nag Champa or similar type blend).

 

            We begin by standing in the South, on the Square of the 10 of the Holy Tau in Ygdrasil.

            Holy your incense stick, unlit, with both hands before the Eye which is in the place of the Ajna Chakra, and above which is the Jewel of the Natal Crown corresponding with your Rising Sun Sign that lies in the center of the forehead.  Formulate your Natal Crown.

 

            Point the incense stick to your left, picture a large White Eagle to your far left, then the Blue Square of the 4 and the Orange Square of the 8.  Bring the incense stick back to center, upright before the Eye.

 

            Point the incense stick to your right, picture a large Red Lion to your far right, then the Scarlet Square of the 5 and the Emerald Square of the 7.  Bring the incense stick back to center, upright before the Eye.

 

            On the Square of the 10, formulate the Sigil of Earth which is also known as the Mark of the Beast.  This is a circle with an “x” in the center where the ends of the “x” connect to the perimeter of the circle.  This forms four quadrants within the circle, which should be seen with the following colorations:  the bottom quadrant is black; the left hand quadrant is a rusty red; the right hand quadrant is olive; and the top quadrant is yellow-citrine.  See your self standing balanced on the Square of the 10, between the White Eagle and the Red Lion and colored Squares to each side of you, wearing the Natal Crown.  Do your best with these visualizations.  They will get easier over time and are natural.

 

            Point the incense stick forward and say “May the Stairway to Heaven be rightly formulated.”  See the Stairway in your Eye, with each Square on the vertical bar of the Tau forming a Step.  Take one step forward on to the Silver-Purple Square of the 9.  Take another step forward on to the Yellow Square of the 6.  Take another step forward on to the Black Square of the 3.  Take another step forward on to the Grey Square of the 2.  Take a final step forward on to the White-Luminous Square of the One.  You now stand before the Sigil of Aemeth, the Seal of our God in Ygdrasil which is the Seal of the God of Truth.

 

            Reach forward and hold the incense stick upright over the candle, not lighting it, visualize the Alchemical Sigil of Mercury behind the candle and say – “Let the Temple fires be lit and the Temple open in Ygdrasil.” 

 

            Raise the incense stick upon high, holding it with both hands and charge the incense using your own words or, perhaps, the words given in the paper entitled “A Charge (Applied in the context of preparing some Incense)” adapted for your working.  It is important in this regard to call the Divine Hierarchy attributed to the Magickal Day, each Day.

 

            When done with the charge, light the incense stick, make the Holy Cross of the Crown before your Eye and Natal Crown, making a circle around the bars of the Cross and your Eye, then waive the incense before your heart, your genital area, and down to your feet.   Then, raise the incense stick up your median line to the top of your Natal Crown, back down to the nap of your neck, then over your left shoulder and over to your right shoulder and back to center (forming a cross on your body).  While you are doing this, say “May this Childe be moved ever so rightly in the Holy Work.  Consecrated, Blessed be.” 

 

            Still standing on the Square of the One, turn directly to the South, so you are looking down the vertical bar of the Holy Tau forming the Stairway. 

 

            Raise the incense stick over your head and point the lit end behind you, and see in your Eye a flaming Red Sigil of the Element of Fire.  Bring the incense stick back to center before you.

 

            Point the lit end of the incense stick to your left and see a glistening Yellow Sigil of the Element of Air.  Bring the incense stick back to center before you.

 

            Point the lit end of the incense stick to your right and see a flowing Blue Sigil of the Element of Water.  Bring the incense stick back to center before you.

 

            Point the lit end of the incense stick straight before your and see a flowering Green Sigil of Elemental Earth.  Bring the incense stick back to center before you.  This completes the higher Elemental formula corresponding to Ygdrasil.

 

            Facing South still, pause and see your self wearing the Natal Crown in the midst of the Temple.  See the Blade formulate around you.  From the Square of the One to the Red Lion issues the Path of Aleph.  From the Square of the One to the White Eagle issues the Path of Beth.  The Paths of Aleph and Beth are always expressive.  Connecting them at the base of the Blade is the Path of Daleth.  The Blade formulates at the level of the Square of the Holy One.  The Stairway to Heaven descends through the center of the Blade.

 

            Now take the incense stick, still upright before you, and make a circle before you from left to right while saying - “May Spirit descend in the midst of the Tetragrammaton to redeem, equilibrate and inform the Elements, may the Blade be illumined, and may the Light and Love of the Chalice infuse the vessel of this Childe, cleansing and purifying it, making it strong and healthy and apt to receive, hold and express the Light and Love of the Chalice.  Amen.”

 

            Turn around to the North to complete the opening Ritual, hold the incense stick above the Sigil of Aemeth, make three circles with the incense stick spiraling downwards to a center point and then three circles with the incense stick spiraling upwards to a circle encompassing the Sigil, and say “May the Sigil of Aemeth shine ever so brightly in this Holy Temple.  Amen.”

 

            Proceed now with your other Holy Work for the Day, wearing the Crown and expressing the Light and Love of God.  Amen.

 

            The Temple in Ygdrasil never has to be closed, as it is always open.  We simply rekindle the Fires of the Temple every day in our Work, ever Glorying and Praising God.

 

Love is the Law, Love under Will.
