Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

This paper provides a Ceremonial Rite of Self-Initiation for a Member of the First Order of the Great Order of the Universe. This is optional, but is encouraged to further your Initiation. The Keys to Initiation into the First Order are shown in the Ritual, up to the Work of the Dominis Liminis.

The Ritual provides the preliminary Initiations into the Magickal Formulae of the Sphere, the Elements, the Sephiroth and the Paths on the Tree of Life which are the subject of the Work of the First Order.

This Ritual is, ideally, first performed when the Childe commences the Work of the Childe of Yesod, to be admitted to the lowest point of the first Visible Triad, here being symbolized by the Yitziratic Hexagram. The Work as a Childe of Earth and the Work of the Childe of Malkuth is prepatory for this important step on the Royal Path of Initiation and, to a certain extent, serves as a trial or probationary period. Your prior Work will assist you in learning certain skills which are necessary to perform the Ritual. This Initiation Rite can, however, be performed at any time during your First Order Work, to reaffirm your prior Work.

This is the first of four Initiations based on the Stations of the Sun. Kephra opens, Ra admits, Hathoor seals and Tum closes. This will be done, without any action on your part simply by performing the Ritual. You simply need to focus your Eye, yea your Aspiration, on the Ritual and your intent to be Initiated, keeping the Pentagram aright within your Sphere. All else will proceed from there.

In this Initial Rite, multiple things are occurring. The Childe is being consecrated to the Great Work, and charged to Move an inert thing into Action. The Childe’s Sphere is being organized into its component parts so each part may act efficiently according to its own nature. The Aspirant may then Work with each of the component parts, to come to Know them through direct experience and the nature and powers of the Childe’s own human being.

The Ritual uses the Thelemic Pentagram Formula described in the Guide to the Oaths of Initiation and Scroll of the Ritual of the Stars. See also the paper entitled the Pentagram Formulae for the First Order for more information.

There are four Initial Consecrations in the Ritual which are made according to the Formulae of the Neophyte. This first consecration is of the Elemental Childe, which from a First Order may be viewed as the lower “5”, corresponding with the Daughter (in the Formula of the Tetragrammaton) and the Black Pillar of Severity on the Microcosmic Tree of Life (or “Little Tree”) embodied by the Childe. The second consecration is of the “6”, corresponding to the White Pillar of Mercy of the Little Tree embodied by the Childe, the Son (in the formula of the Tetragrammaton) and the Holy Guardian Angel within. The third consecration is of the Evolving Adept within the Childe. The fourth consecration is of the prior three (the 5, the 6 and the Adept), who are 3 in 1 and 1 in 3, which produce the Magickal Childe spoken of in other papers of the Sanctuary. Scribe, Angel, Adept. The Eye is immediately focused on Evolving the Childe through the Work of the First Order, to Become a Member of the Second Order and an Adept. Let your Eye remain ever so focused on these Holy Goals, and allow your Eye to open to the Mysteries of the First Order.

Following the Charging of the Childe, the Childe receives the Preliminary Initiations described in Liber Legis Chapter I, verses 50 and 51. Yea, there are Four Gates to One Palace. The Gates are taken all at once, yet in turn, during the Course of the Ritual, as the floor of the Palace begins to formulate.

Set your Heart upon the Love of Nu, and perform your Initiation Ritual unto Her. Then shall Her Kisses rain hard upon you. Success!!!

Initial Preparations

Study the Ritual thoroughly before performing it. This itself is part of the Initiation Process. You are encouraged to have a working copy of the Ritual which you will carry with you throughout the Rite. You will need to know how to performing certain Magickal Signing. Specifically, you will need to know (among other things) how to make: the Sign of Nuit; the Sign of Hadit; the Sign of Victory; the Sign of the Enterer; the Sign of Silence; the Sign of Earth (also called the Sign of Set Fighting); the Sign of Air (also called the Sign of the God Shu Supporting); the Sign of Water (also called the Sign of the Goddess Auramoth); the Sign of Fire (also called the Sign of the Goddess Thoum-aesch-neith); and the Sign of the Cross. You will also need to know how to trace all Pentagrams and Hexagrams referenced in the Ritual. Familiarize yourself thoroughly with such matters before performing the Ritual, making margin notes on your working copy of the Ritual as you deem appropriate. All of these matters are discussed in other papers issued by the Sanctuary, and in other magickal texts available to you.

Your Ritual is performed as an Act of Love and Devotion to the Great Work. Enter into the Ritual with this attitude. Be humble. The Ritual should be performed smoothly. If you make a mistake of any sort during the Ritual, return back to the point where the mistake was made, correct it and move forward without any self-criticism. Be assured that all will be done rightly when your Heart is set upon the Love of Nu.

The Temple Preparations

Consider astrological correspondences in selecting the time when you will perform your Ritual. In the Practices of the Sanctuary, Members of the First Order Work on Lunar Cycles. To move in tune with the Lunar Cycles, it would be best to perform your Ritual shortly after a New Moon, while the Moon is waxing. This Ritual is also best performed at or shortly after Sunrise.

You are encouraged to arrange the Holy Space where you will be performing the Ritual in advance, preferably the Magickal Day (called a “Die” or “Day” in the parlance of the Sanctuary) before you perform the Ritual, so you can focus wholly on the Ritual on the Day you will be performing it. You are also encouraged to purify and consecrate (or re-consecrate) everything you will be using in the Ritual according to your own Ingenium before performing the Ritual. This sets the stage for Transformation.

Consider arranging your Temple as follows:

· Initial Triangle – Draw or construct a white triangle, which is three units in length (as you determine) on each side. This will be placed on the floor just outside your Magick Circle, which you will be entering in the north-east. The triangle must be big enough for you to stand in. It should be placed with the apex of the Initial Triangle pointing towards the Circle.

· Altar – Place your Altar in the center of the Holy Space where your Magick Circle will be cast during the Rite. You will be at the “Foot of the Altar” for a significant part of this Ritual, which in the First Order is west of the Altar facing east. The Altar symbolizes the Universe in Being, and you stand at the Foot of the Altar before God. Know that the Eye of Horus is ALWAYS upon you, in and out of the Temple – no exceptions.

· Altar Pieces – On the Altar, place the following:

o Liber Legis - A copy of Liber Legis, which will be consecrated with you during the Ritual. This should be in the center of the Altar yet near to you.

o Small Triangle – A Small White Triangle (made of paper or, if possible, wood), which will be placed in the exact center of the Altar with the apex pointing directly to the west. This is the central point in your Magick Circle where the Light will concentrate. The Small Triangle is also a symbolic means of projecting the first Visible Triad on the floor of your Holy Space, with the Alchemical Principles organized as described below.

o Holy Oil – Place a vial of Holy Oil in the center of the Small Triangle.

o White Candle - This will be placed on the Altar near the apex of the Small Triangle in the west. This is the place of Alchemical Mercury.

o Holy Water – Standing at the Foot of the Altar, this will be placed near the right apex of the Small Triangle, in the place of Alchemical Salt.

o Holy Incense. Standing at the foot of the altar, this is place at the left apex of the Small Triangle, in the place of Alchemical Sulphur.

o Elemental Symbols –

§ It is unnecessary for purposes of this Ritual for you to possess (or use) any of the Elemental weapons or tools. If you have all of them, place them around the perimeter of your Magick Circle near the corresponding Quarter Candle based on the elemental formula of this Rite. Accordingly, for purposes of this Ritual, the tools would be placed as follows: East-Earth-Pantacle; North-Air-Dagger; West-Water-Cup; and South-Fire-Wand.

§ Place Symbols of the Elements on the outside edges of your Altar in their corresponding positions. The following are recommended: A small plate of bread and salt in the East corresponding with the Element of Earth; a Red Rose in the North corresponding with the Element of Air; a Cup of Water or Wine in the West corresponding with the Element of Water; and a Red Candle of Lamp in the South corresponding with the Element of Fire. Your Altar must be balanced, so all placements further harmony. Therefore, no one item should be too big or too small, but rather they should be of equal size.

§ In all cases, it is recommended that you trace all Pentagrams and Hexagrams referenced in the Ritual with your hand in the Sign of Benediction, using your True Magick Wand which is your Will.

· Oath – A copy of the Oath of Oath of the Childe of Yesod, which has not been executed as of yet.

o In connection with this, if you are assuming a new motto when you will be taking the Oath, you will want to make a Qabalistic analysis of the options you have been considering prior to the Ritual. However, you are encouraged not to make a final decision about your new motto until you actually execute the Oath. Your Angel will Guide you as to what your motto should be.

· Quarter Candles – Place four white candles around your Magick Circle at the cardinal points. These should be new (not used before) and consecrated with the Holy Oil prior to the Ritual.

· Canopic Jars – These are optional, but are recommended in the Practices of the Sanctuary (when you get to it) to assist you in establishing the Formula of the Sons of Horus (which vary based on the Elemental Formula of your Rites). For present purposes, if you possess Canopic Jars, place them about your Magick Circle as follows: AMESHET, who is the Kerub of Earth, next to the eastern Quarter Candle; AHEPHI, who is the Kerub of Air, next to the northern Quarter Candle; DAUMUTEH, who is the Kerub of Water, next to the western Quarter Candle; and KABESHUNT, who is the Kerub of Fire, next to the southern Quarter Candle.

The Preparations of the Childe

On the Holy Day when you will be performing the Ritual, you are encouraged to eat lightly, so you enter the Ritual with little or no food in your stomach but are not distracted by hunger. A diet of oats, milk and fruit juices is encouraged (subject to your own dietary limitations if any) during the 24 hours prior to the Ritual. A consecrated robe (black) may be worn or other holy clothes you use to perform your Ceremonial Work. You are encouraged to structure your activity leading up to the Ritual in such a way as to focus your Eye and, yea your Aspiration, on the Initiation, inducing feelings of holiness. Be certain to wash your hands, face, ears, head, neck and feet (which should be bare during the Ritual), just before you commence the Ritual.

The Ritual

Preliminary Matters

When you are ready to commence the Ritual, there is the Preliminary Matter of Opening the Holy Space by Invoking the Most High.
Stand at the Foot of the Altar, and hold the Vial of Holy Oil above your head (taking the top off the Vial before-hand).
Point to the east with the Vial of Holy Oil keeping your hands above your head and say – “A ka dua”.
Remaining facing east, point to the west with the Vial of Holy Oil keeping your hands above your head and say – “Tuf ur biu”.
Remaining facing east, point to the north with the Vial of Holy Oil keeping your hands above your head and say – “Bi a’a chefu”.
Remaining facing east, point to the south with the Vial of Holy Oil keeping your hands above your head and say – “Dudu ner af an nuteru”
Trace a Cross and Circle on the top of your skull with the Holy Oil, as follows: Dip your thumb in the Holy Oil; start in the center of the skull, which will be the center of the Cross; trace the vertical bar of the Cross to the front of the skull and back to center; trace the right hand horizontal bar of the Cross and back to center; trace the left hand horizontal bar of the Cross and back to center; then trace the vertical bar of the Cross to the back of the skull and back to center; draw the circle commencing at the vertical bar on the back of the skull and move widdershins/counter-clockwise around the hat-line connecting the Circle to the Cross. (Always connect the Circle to the Cross!!!)
Touch the center of the skull, yea the center of the Circle and the Cross, and acknowledge the Natal Crown you wear.
Say – ABRAHADABRA!!!
This will serve to call an Assembly of the Gods for the Holy Ritual of Initiation.
At this time, light the White Candle on the Altar, and your Holy Incense, but do not light the Quarter Candles as of yet. (The Quarter Candles are lit at specific times as provided for below.)

Erecting the Magickal Space – Cast Thy Circles Thrice About!

· Perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram using the Thelemic Pentagram Formula as a basis (Circle 1).

o This is performed a special way solely for this Rite (much like what it taught to the Childe of Earth). The Childe is Working from the perspective of Malkuth of Assiah. Accordingly, the elements are assigned to each quarter but no Sephira as of yet.

o Remaining in the center of your Magick Circle at the Foot of the Altar, hold the hands open touching at the finger tips above your head to create a crescent over your head with the hands and arms [this is the Sign of Nuit] and say – “NUIT”.

o Keep the finger tips touching, lower the hands to your Heart Center [this is the Sign of Hadit], and say - “HADIT”.

o Make the Sign of Victory, separating the hands and raising them to the Heavens to form a “V” and say – “HERU-RA-HA”.

o Lower the hands to Praying Position, and say “AMEN”.

o We now establish the Formula of the Sons of Horus within the Sphere.

§ Move to the eastern perimeter of your Circle, by the eastern Quarter Candle, trace a Banishing Earth Pentagram, and charge it by saying the Name – “AMESHET”, who is the Kerub of Earth, thereby assigning the element of Earth to this quarter.

§ Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magick Circle to the northern Quarter Candle, trace a Banishing Earth Pentagram and charge it by saying the Name – “AHEPHI”, who is the Kerub of Air, thereby assigning the element of Air to this quarter.

§ Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magick Circle to the western Quarter Candle, trace a Banishing Earth Pentagram and charge it by saying the Name – “DAUMUTEH”, who is the Kerub of Water, thereby assigning the element of Water to this quarter.

§ Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magick Circle to the southern Quarter Candle, trace a Banishing Earth Pentagram and charge it by saying the Name – “KABESHUNT”, who is the Kerub of Fire, thereby assigning the element of Fire to this quarter.

o Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magick Circle, past the eastern Quarter Candle (completing Circle 1), and return to the Foot of the Altar.

o At the Foot of the Altar, stand in the Sign of the Cross (arms extended straight from the shoulders, palms facing out), and say –

§ “Before me, the Holy Powers of the East;”

§ Behind me, the Holy Powers of the West;

§ On my right hand, the Holy Powers of the South;

§ On my left hand, the Holy Powers of the North;

§ For about me Flames the Pentagram; and

§ In the Center Shines the Crowned Childe.”

o Now hold the hands open touching at the finger tips above your head to create a crescent over your head with the hands and arms and say – “NUIT”.

o Keep the finger tips touching, lower the hands to your Heart Center, and say - “HADIT”.

o Make the Sign of Victory, separating the hands and raising them to the Heavens to form a “V” and say – “HERU-RA-HA”.

o Lower the hands to Praying Position, and say “AMEN”.

o Say – ABRAHADABRA!!!

· Purify your Magick Circle with the Holy Water (Circle 2).

o Start by breathing onto your Holy Water to move it into Action.

o Then hold the Holy Water on high and say - “So, therefore, the Priest[ess] who governeth the Works of Fire must first sprinkle with the Lustral Water of the Loud Resounding Sea.”

o Move to the eastern perimeter of your Magick Circle with your Holy Water.

§ Make a Cross with the Holy Water.

§ Sprinkle three times in the center thereof.

§ Hold your Holy Water in the center of the Cross.

§ Imagine the Waters of Creation, rushing from all directions in the direction you facing, to initiate the projection for the Purification.

o Move widdershins to the northern perimeter of your Magick Circle projecting your Magick Circle as you do so.

§ Make the Cross and proceed as instructed when you were in the east.

o Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magickal Circle, purifying each cardinal point in the west and south.

o Move from the south to the eastern cardinal point along the perimeter of your Magick Circle (completing Circle 2).

o Then return to the center of your Circle at the Foot of the Altar.

§ Trace a cross, and then a circle around the cross, on your forehead with the Holy Water, then sprinkle the chest and feet.

§ As you lift up from the feet, project onto your body the vertical bar of the cross, up to the shoulders.

§ Then on the body, trace a horizontal bar to the left shoulder and over to the right shoulder, and back to center by the neck.

§ Then trace the top portion of the vertical bar to the Crown.

§ Hold the Holy Water upon high and say – “I PURIFY WITH THE HOLY WATER”.

§ See the Waters of Creation swirl about your Sphere, purifying All within.

· Consecrate your Magick Circle with the Holy Fire (Circle 3).

o Hold your hands over your Holy Incense, and project a current into the Incense to move the Incense into Action.

o Then pick-up the Holy Incense and hold the Holy Incense upon high saying - “And when all phantoms have vanished, thou shall see the Holy Formless Fire, that Fire which darts and flashes through the inner depths of the Universe; HEAR THOU THE VOICE OF FIRE!”

o Move to the eastern perimeter of your Magick Circle with your Holy Incense.

§ Make a Cross with the Holy Incense.

§ Wave the Holy Incense three times toward the center thereof.

§ Hold your Holy Incense in the center of the Cross.

§ Imagine the Fires of Creation, rushing from all directions in the direction you facing, to initiate the projection for the Consecration.

o Move widdershins to the northern perimeter of your Magick Circle projecting your Magick Circle as you do so.

§ Make the Cross and proceed as instructed when you were in the east.

o Move widdershins along the perimeter of your Magickal Circle, consecrating each cardinal point in the west and south.

o Move from the south to the eastern cardinal point along the perimeter of your Magick Circle (completing the projection of Circle 3).

o Then return to the center of your Circle at the Foot of the Altar.

§ Trace a cross, and then a circle around the cross, near your forehead with the Holy Incense, then wave it towards the chest and feet.

§ As you lift up from the feet, project onto your body the vertical bar of the cross, up to the shoulders.

§ Then on the body, trace a horizontal bar to the left shoulder and over to the right shoulder, and then back to center by the neck.

§ Then trace the top portion of the vertical bar to the Crown.

§ Hold the Holy Incense upon high and say – “I CONSECRATE WITH THE HOLY FIRE”.

§ See the Fires of Creation swirl and rush about your Sphere, consecrating All within.

· Make the Sign of Silence.

· Now move to the north-east perimeter of your Magick Circle, and cut a doorway in your Magick Circle from left to right big enough for you to walk though.

o Open the door you have made, walk through it - leaving the Holy Space which has been established for your Ritual, and be sure to close the door behind you.

· The Gods will now assemble for the Ritual, as the Holy Space is further established.

o Allow this to occur, taking such time as necessary and for you to prepare to commence your Ritual of Initiation.

o When you are moved to begin, proceed on.

The First Consecration before Re-Entering the Holy Space.

Prepare your-self Childe. Holding the Vial of Holy Oil (and your working copy of the Rite), step into the Initial Triangle, which has been placed in the north-east just outside your Magick Circle as described above. Proceed with the First Consecration. This is done by putting some Holy Oil on your thumb, and tracing the Cross of the Crown of your forehead with a circle around the Cross. Touch the center of the Circle and the Cross, and say -

May this Childe Rise

From the mundane to Spiritual Life,

As a Devout Servant of

The Great Order of the Universe.

Consecrated, blessed be!

Amen.

Stand there for some time with your thumb in the center of the Circle and the Cross, feeling the currents run through your vessel. Pour breathe. Allow the currents to run through and consecrate. When you feel this First Consecration is complete, proceed.

Entering the Magickal Space.

Purified and consecrated to the Great Work and displaying the Circle and the Cross on the forehead, leave the Initial Triangle and enter your Magick Circle by opening the doorway you made, spinning once deosil/clockwise as you pass-through the perimeter of your Magick Circle. Close the doorway by tracing your hand over the portal you made, right to left, sealing the Magick Circle. Move to the Foot of the Altar.

Acknowledge the Crown & Embody the Tree of Life.

Acknowledge the Natal Crown you wear, by performing the Ritual of the Crown if you know how or simply by imagining the Crown upon your head.

Proceed to embody the Microcosmic Tree of Life (called the “Little Tree” in the parlance of the Sanctuary) by invoking the Sephiroth in the order of the Flaming Sword, as follows:

Touch the Kether above your head and say:

Eheieh

Touch the Chokmah near your left ear (in a vertical line with the left shoulder) and say:

Yod Heh

Touch the Binah near your right ear (in a vertical line with the right shoulder) and say:

Yod Heh Vau Heh Elohim

Touch the Chesed near your left shoulder and say:

Touch the Geburah near your right shoulder and say:

Elohim Gibor

Touch the Tiphareth just above your Solar Plexus in the median line of your body and say:

Yod Heh Vau Heh Eloah Ve-daath

Touch the Netzach near your left elbow and say:

Yod Heh Vau Heh Tzabaoth

Touch the Hod near your right elbow and say:

Elohim Tzabaoth

Touch the Yesod just above your pubic bone, and say:

Shaddai El Chai

Point straight down in the median line of your body to the Malkuth on which your stand and say:

Adonai ha-Aretz

You embody the Assiatic Tree of Life, which is the primary subject of this Working until the point indicated below.

Seal the Embodied Little Tree with the Light.

The foregoing will cause the Light to shine on and within you. Having stepped into the Light, equilibrate the Light and Seal the Assiatic Little Tree you embody by tracing a Cross on your body. To do this, bring your hand up the median line of your body to touch the Kether above the head, then trace a vertical bar down from Kether along the median line until extending the arm straight down to point to Malkuth, then bring the hand up the median line to just below the cusp in the neck, trace a horizontal bar by touching the left shoulder and then over to touch the right shoulder. Bring the hand back to center, into Praying Position. Now extend your arms in the Sign of the Cross and say:

I gild myself with the Light,

To perform and accomplish this Ritual aright,

By Thy Will, to Thy Glory,

So mote it be!!!

Declare:

There is no part of me which is not of the Gods!

Rising up the Planes; the Charging of the Childe; the Second, Third and Fourth Consecrations.

Holding the Vial of Holy Oil, move to the northeast perimeter of your Magick Circle, where you entered.
You now begin to climb the Assiatic Tree of Life, moving through the Stations of the Sun by Circumambulation.

o With intent to do so, move to the Quarter Candle in the east.

§ Acknowledge that you are in the Place of the Rising Sun, and the God Ra.

§ Make the Sign of the Enterer towards the east to further establish Assiah of Assiah, and return in the Sign of Silence.

o Walk deosil/clockwise around the entire perimeter of your Magick, feeling your Magickal Body ascending up the Plane.

o Upon reaching the east, make the Sign of the Enterer towards the east to open a Portal to access Yitzirah of Assiah, and return in the Sign of Silence.

o Move past the east and stop at your Quarter Candle in the south.

§ Acknowledge that you are in the Place of the Sun at Noon, and the God Hathoor.

§ The Second Consecration – Dipping your thumb in the Holy Oil, trace a Cross and Circle on your forehead (in the manner suggested above in connection with the First Consecration). Allow the Second Consecration to occur, feeling the currents run through you.

o When you are moved to proceed, with further intent to ascend the Planes, move to the Quarter Candle in the west, and stop.

§ Acknowledge that you are at the Gateway of the West, the Place of the Setting Sun, the God Tum and the Forces of Life and Death at Work in this Holy Ritual.

o When you are moved to proceed, with further intent to ascend the Planes, continue to move deosil around the perimeter of your Magick Circle until you reach the Quarter Candle in the east.

§ Stop there and make the Sign of the Enterer toward the east to open a Portal to access Briah of Assiah, and then the Sign of Silence.

o When you are moved to proceed, with further intent to ascend the Planes, move deosil around the perimeter of your Magick Circle and stop by your Quarter Candle in the north.

§ Acknowledge that you are at the Place of the Sun at Midnight, the Place where Life cometh from Death, and the God Kephra.

§ The Third Consecration - Dipping your thumb in the Holy Oil, trace a Cross and Circle on your forehead (in the manner previously suggested). Allow the Third Consecration to occur, feeling the currents running through every fiber of your being.

o When you are moved to proceed, with further intent to ascend the Planes, continue to move deosil around the perimeter of your Magick Circle until you reach the Quarter Candle in the east.

§ Stop there and make the Sign of the Enterer toward the east to open a Portal to access Atziluth of Assiah, and then the Sign of Silence.

Having ascended to the top of the Tree of Life in Assiah, move to the Foot of the Holy Altar.

o The Fourth Consecration - Dipping your thumb in the Holy Oil, trace a Cross and Circle on your forehead (in the manner previously suggested). Allow the Fourth Consecration to occur, taking care to equilibrate your Magick Circle and the currents raised by your Circumambulation, and to seal the energies so raised within thee Childe.

o Make the Sign of Silence.

And so the Childe is prepared in accordance with the Formula of the Neophyte, consecrated to the Great Work and charged for the Work to come.

The Appeal to the Holy Guardian Angel.

Move to the Southern Quarter Candle.

And the Flame of Thy Eye ignite the Holy Pyre!

o Having established the element of fire and the Sephira Netzach in the south, light your southern Quarter Candle in praise of the Holy Names spoken and adored. Hold it upon high, seeing the Forces you have established before you in a red light.

§ When you are ready, put down the Quarter Candle and proceed on.

Complete the Formula of the Pentagram - Spirit.

Complete your Circle by moving along the perimeter of your Magick Circle, past your Quarter Candle in the east, and return to the Foot of the Altar.
Stand in the Sign of the Cross and say:

Let us adore the Lord of the Universe.

Hail unto Thee, O Lord of the Universe,

Who is in All, and All are in Thee.

From the Zenith to the Nadir of the Celestial Sphere,

In every cardinal direction, Thou art there.

Thou art the Spirit hidden in All things,

And the One above their Moving Might.

I know Thee, O my Lord, so may your Spirit descend,

Enflaming my Sword until the very end.

Elemental Signing. Having set the Pentagram aright within your Holy Sphere, and Spiritualized by your Invocations, make the Elemental Signs from the center of your Magick Circle as follows:

o Make the Sign of Earth (also called the Sign of Set Fighting Equilibrate) towards the East.

o Remaining in the Center of your Circle, turn towards the North and make the Sign of Air (also called the Sign of the God Shu Supporting).

o Remaining in the Center of your Circle, turn towards the West and make the Sign of Water (also called the Sign of the Goddess Auramoth).

o Remaining in the Center of your Circle, turn towards the South and make the Sign of Fire (also called the Sign of the Goddess Thoum-aesch-neith).

o Turn widdershins towards the east, equilibrate by standing in the Sign of the Cross and say –

o Trace a black Invoking Pentagram of Earth over your Altar.

o Over the Pentagram, trace a black Invoking Hexagram of Saturn.

o Trace an indigo Hebrew Letter Tau (ת) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Tau, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Shin.

o Trace a vermillion Invoking Pentagram of Fire over your Altar.

o Trace a glowing orange-scarlet Hebrew Letter Shin (ש) the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Shin, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Resh

o Trace a gold-yellow unicursal Invoking Hexagram of the Sun over your Altar.

o Trace an orange Hebrew Letter Resh (ר) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Resh, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Qoph.

o Trace a buff flecked silver white Invoking Hexagram of Jupiter over your Altar.

o Trace a crimson/ultra-violet Hebrew Letter Qoph (ק) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Qoph, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Tzaddi.

o Trace a red Invoking Hexagram of Mars over your Altar.

o Trace a scarlet Hebrew Letter Tzaddi (צ) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Tzaddi, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Pe.

o Trace a red Invoking Hexagram of Mars over your Altar.

o Trace a scarlet Hebrew Letter Pe (פ) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Pe, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Ayin.

o Trace a black Invoking Hexagram of Saturn over your Altar.

o Trace an indigo Hebrew Letter Ayin (ע) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Ayin, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Samekh.

o Trace a yellow Invoking Hexagram of Jupiter over your Altar.

o Trace a blue Hebrew Letter Samekh (ס) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Samekh, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

The Path of Nun.

o Trace a dull brown Invoking Hexagram of Mars over your Altar.

o Trace a green-blue Hebrew Letter Nun (נ) in the center of the Hexagram while saying “By the Holy Letter Nun, I adore Thee and I invoke Thee.”

Declare:

May this Rite aid this Childe

in completing the Work of the First Order

and Ascending through the Veil of Paroketh,

so this Childe may Truly Attain to the Holy Second Order.

The Awakening of the Muladhara Chakra

Remaining at the Foot of the Altar, proceed on when you are ready.

Acknowledge that the Performance of this Ritual is the Crowning of the Work of the Childe of Malkuth (or your prior First Order Work). Therefore, it is time to Awaken the Muladhara Chakra into Activity to assist Thee Childe in your Great Work to come.

See the Muladhara Chakra located above the anus and below the pubic bone. It is presently upside down, and must be flipped right-side up. It has four petals, which are crimson in color. On each petal is written one of the following words in gold letters – VAM, SAM, SHAM and SAM. The bija or “seed sound” of the Chakra is LAM. To awaken it, take the palm of your hand and forcibly, yet gently, strike in a downward motion just above the pubic bone. While you do so, say or vibrate the word “LAM”. Now deeply breath in through the left nostril (down through the Ida) and out through the right nostril (up and out through the Pingala). Repeat this process a minimum of three times and up to nine times until you see in your Eye the Chakra stir into Activity and flip-over to be right side up. When you see this happen, chant the mantra of the Chakra which is VAM SAM SHAM SAM a minimum of three times and up to nine times. While doing this, feel the Kundalini rise like a luminescent snake of light and intertwine through the heart of the Chakra and its petals and positioning itself further to rise up the Sushumna.

Once awakened, the Chakra will glow crimson and gold light, and further radiate prismatic light, yea the colors of the rainbow.

Now declare:

Let the Muladhara Chakra be Awakened into Right Activity,

To assist this Childe in the Holy Work to come.

And may the Kundalini Rise to Serve this Childe in the Great Work,

Ever to the Glory of the Holy Names of God.

The Taking of the Oath

It is now time to take the Oath of the Childe of Yesod.

Take a moment to acknowledge the Work which has been performed during the course of the Ritual.

When you are ready, read your Oath out loud, slowly, and taking care to pronounce each word thereof clearly and without slurring.

When you have read the Oath, acknowledge that you are taking the Oath in Freedom, for only in Freedom may you proceed along the Royal Path.

Then sign the Oath with your new motto.

With energized enthusiasm, say – “ABRAHADABRA, the Great Work Accomplished!!! Amen.”

The Eucharist of the Elements; the Holy Sacrament; the Sealing of the Work

When you are ready, proceed to this next phase of the Ritual by saying –

We now prepare to take a Eucharist

of the Magickal Power raised here today,

as a Magickal Link to Seal the Accomplishment of this Great Work,

and as a Libation to the Holy Names of God

spoken and adored here today.

When you are ready, proceed to say:

I eat this bread and salt as a symbol of the Element of Earth and Life.

Do so, taking care to acknowledge your sense of touch.

When you are ready, proceed to say:

I smell this rose as a symbol of the Element of Air and Liberty.

Do so, taking care to acknowledge your sense of smell.

When you are ready, proceed to say:

I taste this liquid [wine or water] as a symbol of the Element of Water and Love.

Do so, taking care to acknowledge your sense of taste.

When you are ready, proceed to say:

I look into this flame as a symbol of the Element of Fire and Light.

Do so, taking care to acknowledge your sense of sight.

When you are ready, proceed by saying:

I kiss this Holy Book, three times,

as a symbol of Spirit and the Great Work in progress.

Kiss your copy of Liber Legis three times, taking care to acknowledge your sense of hearing in the process, and then return it to the Altar.

Then, say:

It is done!

May this Ritual assist this Childe in developing

Magickally, Spiritually and materially unto my

utmost, maximum beneficial and correct potential,

and in the most beneficial, powerful, correct and efficient way,

Ever to the Glory of the Most High.

Reverence and devotion does this Childe bring to Thee,

to the Great Order of the Universe

Reverse Circumambulation

Move to the south-east perimeter of your Magick Circle.

Move to the eastern Quarter Candle. Make the Sign of the Enterer towards the east, making a Portal unto Briah of Assiah, and return in the Sign of Silence.

Walk down the Plane by moving widdershins around the perimeter of your Magick Circle and stop again by your Quarter Candle in the east.

Make the Sign of the Enterer towards the east, making a Portal unto Yitzirah of Assiah, and return in the Sign of Silence.

Walk down the Plane by moving widdershins around the perimeter of your Magick Circle and stop again by your Quarter Candle in the east.

Make the Sign of the Enterer towards the east, making a Portal unto Assiah of Assiah, and return in the Sign of Silence

Walk down the Plane by moving widdershins around the perimeter of your Magick Circle and stop again by your Quarter Candle in the east.
