Do what thou Wilt shall be the
whole of the Law.
Let us begin by quoting from the initial sentence in the “Preliminary Discourse” from The Key of Solomon the King – “Every one knoweth in the present day that from time immemorial Solomon possessed knowledge inspired by the wise teachings of an angel, to which he appeared so submissive and obedient, that in addition to the first of wisdom … he obtained with profusion all the other virtues…” (emphasis added).
Then, let us provide the True Key of Solomon the King from the first sentence of Book I, Chapter I of The Key (paraphrased in parts for present purposes) - “Solomon … hath said that the beginning of our Key is [to adore God, to honor God and to invoke God] in all matters which we wish to undertake, and to operate with very great devotion, for thus God will lead us in the right way.”
The Holy
Duty of a Childe is to evolve as a Perfect Vessel for God to Move through
transparently. Just as the continually
Purified Ruach of a Childe eventually identifies with the Ruach Elohim and no
longer is distinguishable, so the continually Purified Childe Becomes Virgin
and Pure, yea the Virgin Daughter, and is no longer distinguishable as anything
other than Part of the Body of God. So
is the Process of Evolution along the
Ceremonial Magick is a Royal Art & Science which will assist a Childe in going through this Process of Evolution systematically. The aspects of the Childe are each addressed in turn, and are repeatedly and continually purified and consecrated until these aspects become Virgin and Pure. Thus is the Virgin Daughter produced and thus may the Little Tree be broken and the Angel sacrificed so the Childe may attain to the Holy Third Order in the Essence of the Mother..
Let us further consider the Process. A Childe of the First Order looks to the Holy Guardian Angel for Knowledge and Conversation. You must ask questions of the Angel and listen to what the Angel has to say. But be aware! To listen is not enough! The Childe must act on the Word the Childe receives!
As the Childe attains Knowledge and Conversation, the Angel and Childe are perceived as separate. As evolution progresses, the Angel and Childe “merge” to create a new, third thing (referred to in the parlance of the Sanctuary as the “Magickal Childe”). The Magickal Childe is then rid of its qliphotic parts as part of the Work of the Childe of Geburah by doing only True Will, and further purified by Loving All as part of the Work of the Childe of Chesed until the Virgin Daughter is produced. The Little Tree is then broken, the Angel is sacrificed and even the Great Tree (which the Childe temporarily embodies) is left at the Gates of Eden as the Childe enters the Supernal Triangle in the Essence of the Great Mother and thereby Becomes the Mother. Thus does the Childe evolve and continue to evolve according to the Formula of the Tetragrammaton.
During the Course of this Work, the Childe’s Eye will open to the interior of the Universe (from the Perspective of the Childe’s Attainment) and the Presence and Power of God here on Earth and indwelling or abiding within the Childe.
The Work of the Aspirant then is clear:
· Love, honor and glorify God at all times.
· Invoke God for guidance in all you do.
· Observe every thought, word and deed, yea every internal and external experience, as an Expression of God.
· Ever Work to evolve as a Perfect Vessel, and further your Magickal, Spiritual and Material Evolution in all ways.
The Sanctuary’s System of Initiation provides a clear, healthy, balanced and ordered approach to purifying and consecrating each and every aspect of your human being and evolving your Starry Structure to assist you in performing and accomplishing this Great Work and more.
The foregoing being said, let us now focus on the importance of daily projections and prayer. At least one projection per Magickal Day is recommended in the Practices of the Sanctuary. This may be done in the context of simply charging some incense. For guidance on how to do this, you are encouraged to review the paper entitled “A Charge (Applied in the context of preparing some Incense)”, which provides instruction on how to rightly word your projections, whether to charge incense or any other thing or offering. Your daily projection would, of course, be rightly made in the context of your ceremonial workings, if you are performing any that Day. Consider all of this in learning how to rightly “fire arrows of current” to “plant” magickal “seeds” in a way which is consistent with the Universal currents you have to Work with in the Practice of Magick. Further consider that all Lunar Cycles, Solar Cycles and even the Solar Tides have their respective waxing and waning periods, and that learning to Work “in tune” with these periods to cultivate the magickal “seeds” you “plant” will assist in furthering your Great Work. See, in this regard, the paper previously referenced in this paragraph for added language to use in your projections during waning periods.
Daily “prayer” is also another
means of Communing with the Divine, “tuning” into the Magickal Currents of the
Day and making projections. To assist
you in doing so, a simple prayer for each Magickal Day is offered below for
your information and regular use.
Remember that a Magickal Day (or “Die” in the parlance of the Sanctuary)
is different than a calendar day. A

THE DAILY PRAYERS
The Daily Prayers set forth below may be rightly used by Aspirants who are Members of the First or Second Orders to further their Great Work. In using them with regularity, the Eye will open to the Nature of the Magickal Currents invoked. Consider that, as the Sun and Moon move through each Magickal (or Solar) Day and Zodiacal Sign, the nature of the Magickal Currents change to highlight or Illuminate different parts of your Natal Crown and areas of your life. Focusing the Eye on this and other Astrological Influences upon your Natal Crown, and learning to Work rightly “in tune” with available Currents, will further your Work, right growth and healthy, balanced Initiation and Evolution.
Prayer for the Day
of Mercury
(Commencing
- On this Day of Mercury, I call to Thee my Beautiful for Aid in the Great Work and to Praise Thy Glory.
- O’ Master of Magick; Rise, Move, Appear unto me as a Young Boy, flashing and lovely; He who is swifter than lightening.
- Lend me of Thy Powers, Thy Wisdom and Thy Eloquence in executing my Holy Duties. Teach me the Royal Art & Science of Magick.
- Assist me in solving the Secret of the Stars. Reveal to me Absolute Truth. Allow me to listen to Nature in all Her Manifold Mysteries.
- O’ Thou Being the Winged and Vital Intelligence of the Gods, the Wisdom of the Creator who Speaks the Word.
- He who Abides beyond the limitations of time and space, who bears the Caduceus, who Works Wonders and Heals.
- Assist me in my Travels in discovering the Treasures of Nature, hidden to all but those who approach Thee as babes.
- Now, therefore, refine and hone my Sword, let us to Commune, for I stand before Thee as a Childe of Nu.

Prayer for the Day of the Sun
(Commencing
- Hail, my Lord the Sun - Lord of Incarnation, Life, Death and Ascension! Allow my Eye to open to Thee and Thy Glory.
- Shine on and through me. Cast away the clouds of ignorance, which is darkness. Allow me to behold the purpose of my incarnation, so I may rightly fulfill my Great Work and further the Brotherhood of Man.
- O` my Lord, lend me of your Strength, Vitality and Creativity. I am uplifted in your Vigor. Reveal to me the Sacrament of my life. My Eye is set upon Thee, and so I Become Thee. Thou art swift and glorious. I subsist in Thy Image.
- Thou who shines the Invisible Light of Kether. Thou whose Rays are the Source of all Life. O` Spark and Light of Life. Rise and shine. Harmonize and perfect me, for I am a Childe of Nu, and you are Her Beloved Lord God.
- Thou art the Expression of the One Power, the True King. Teach me of Thy Mystery, of the Story of God and man, and of the purpose of human suffering and death. Assist me in regaining Cosmic Consciousness and in right growth and Evolution. For I am of Thee, shrouded in flesh.
- I behold Thee now. I bask in Thy Glory. I look to Thee, and am in the rapture of Thy Illumination. Praise and Glory to Thy many Holy Names.

Prayer for the Day of the Moon
(Commencing
- O’ my Goddess, I call to Thee. Thou art Pure and Perfect. Queen of the Heavens and the Stars. Reveal to me your Hidden Altars.
- I look to Thee with my Heart. Thou art my Soul. Lustrate me with Thy Holy Water. Focus my Eye, yea my Aspiration, so I may timely return to Thee.
- Thou whose Womb is Illumined by the Light of the Sun. I behold Thee, gentle and Loving. Assist me in Understanding, in serving with Compassion.
- All life is but an ordeal to come to behold Thee most fully. Nurture me with your Love. Cultivate my Mystickal Skills so I may serve Thee ever so rightly.
- You appear to me as the Triple Goddess - Maid, Mother and Crone. I Love Thee in Thy many Aspects. Thou art Nature, and give birth to All in Nature.
- I strive towards Thee, yet you are ever with me. I yearn for Thy Kisses. Lead me to the Thy Temple and unveil the Shrine.
- O’ Great Mother of All, Sister of the Sun, Virgin Wisdom of the Creator, unlock for me the Mysteries of Thy Creation.
- Allow me to Assist Thee in a New Creation, and to serve the Children, who We must nurture, support, protect and guide in the Great Work.

Prayer for the Day of Mars
(Commencing
- Ho’ Warrior of Thelema, fighting for the redemption of mankind, Red Flame upon the Altar, I invoke Thee for Courage and Strength in the Great Work.
- Move me in right Action. Blast open mine Eye, which is Thine, to my Holy Duties, and lend me of your Energy to do what must be done!
- O’ Sword of Chesed, let my Sword of Steel flame with the Fire of God. Make me strong before Thee to enforce the Law. Protect and guard my soul.
- Cultivate me as a Member of Nu’s Army. Fill me with Virtue and Vitality, so mine Eye shall remain ever so rightly focused. Make me Chivalrous for Thee.

Prayer for the Day of Venus
(Commencing
- O’ Goddess of Love, I call to Thee with Sweet Words of Love and Devotion. Let me gaze upon your Face and emulate your Beauty.
- O’ Woman! I see Thee blazing through the Heavens, Clothed with the Sun. Send me your Love. Return to me manifold that which I send to Thee.
- Inspire me with your Breath. Lend me of your Creativity in the Holy Arts. Assist me in Evolving as the Virgin Daughter. Make me Pure and Chaste.
- O’ Daughter of Love, reveal to me the Power of Love and Virtue. Inspire my Imagination. Harmonize my life. Glorify my Work in all ways.
- I am bathed in Thy Rosy Glow. It tenderly envelopes me. I see in Thee a Brotherhood of Man, Working unto the Love of Nu.
- O’ White Flame of Genius, descend and fill me now, mine Eye is turned inwards so I may behold Thee and Thy Workings. Act through me.
- Thou who art Eternal Pleasure and Prosperity, let Thy Crown of Stars shine brightly. Thy Echoes are Songs of Love, and I am a Muse in Thy Hands.

Prayers for the Day of Saturn
(Commencing
The Day of Saturn has three different yet related aspects which a Childe will Work with over time. The First Aspect corresponds with the Element Earth, and the Great God and Gentle Goddess of Earth. The Second Aspect corresponds with the Planet Saturn. The Third and Highest Aspect corresponds with Binah and Great Supernal Mother, who is ever Nu in the Highest. Prayers to address each of these aspects are offered below. You are encouraged to Work with these one at a time, i.e., making only one of these Prayers in correspondence with your Work per Magickal Day of Saturn.
EARTH:
- O’ Great God and Gentle Goddess of Earth, I pray to Thee. May Thou open this Childe’s Eye to the Heavens of Assiah, to the Mysteries of Earth and to my Holy Work. Aid me in the training of my Nephesch, yea my animal soul, so it may serve as a Spiritualized King of my Vessel and will further Evolution.
- Purify my Holy Vessel and consecrate it to the Great Work. I stand before Thee ready to fight for God in the Redemption of your Children. Place the Mark of Initiation, yea the Mark of the Beast, upon my brow, so I am Ascend into Yitzirah and further Evolve ever to the Glory of your Holy Names, which I adore.
- O` Great God and Gentle Goddess of Earth, I behold Thee as Expressions of Nu, our Goddess Most High. Thou art Loving and Strong. Make me Strong and Stable for Thee, balance the Elements of my human being, move me rightly, so I may at long last Attain unto the Highest and further your Earthly Work.

This Prayer corresponding with Earth should cease to be made once the Nephesch is shed, and the Childe attains to the upper Astral Plane (also known as the Solar Plane). Until then, however, it may be rightly made on any Day of the Week, and particularly on the Day of Saturn, to adore the Great God and Gentle Goddess of Earth, who you are encouraged to pray to daily, regardless of your level of Attainment.
SATURN:
- Hail Saturn! I behold Thee as an Elder God and the Austere and Heavy Hand of Time and Age. I fear Thee not, for I behold Thy Holy Purpose.
- Thou art the Task-Master of the Solar System. Make me Wise and full of Dignity, as I am ever humbled in your Presence. Reveal to me the lessons of life.

Provide me with Inner Strength through
discipline to attain a Holy Calm so I may rightly perform my Duties. Assist me
in erecting the

BINAH:
- O’ Holy Mother, I pray to Thee and Thy Many Holy Names. Everywhere I look, I see Thee and Thy Holy Beauty throughout the Universe. Thou Art Love and the Compassion which comes from Understanding. Make me a Compassionate Witness of your Holy Work. Cultivate me as Part of your Body.
- Mine Eye is ever set upon Thee, whose Love is the Law and the Source of All. Redeem me, for I am your Childe who Aspires to be set upon Thy Holy Throne. Assist me in reversing the Great Curse, to dispel all illusion, so I may attain ever timely unto Thee and serve Thee most fully here on Earth.
- O’ My Goddess, Thou art Nu - She whose Love is Truth, who Loves All and whose Womb is filled with the Joy of the Stars. Let Us laugh, sing and dance together in furtherance of the Great Work of Thelema, for our Joy and Ecstasy is solely in Thee. May Thy Kisses rain hard upon this Childe. Unto Thee!!!
