Do what thou Wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

We now speak of the evolution of the Childe.  The Flaming Sword is a symbol of Divine Presence, Power and Illumination.  It begins in Kether, and runs through the Sephiroth in numerical order, and ends point down in Malkuth.  The Sword is akin to the Arrow.  As the Sword is Illumined during the course of Initiation, the Childe’s Power of Discrimination, to behold the Planes and the Beings corresponding to those Plans, is developed.  It manifests in the Spoken Word.

The Sword “Flames” with the Fire of Spirit and is a Symbol of Spirit.  “May Spirit descend in the midst of the Tetragrammaton to Redeem, Equilibrate and Inform the Elements, and may the Fire of Spirit Most High descend and Enflame the Sword of this Childe.”  This is the Prayer of the Childe to enflame the Sword.  Use it wisely and well.

The course of the Flaming Sword appears to be “broken” between Binah and Chesed on the Tree of Life, as there is no corresponding Path between these two Sephiroth.  This is an Illusion, just as the Great Abyss is an Illusion.  This detail would appear to support the Illusion of the Abyss, but it does not.  May these Illusions be cast from your consciousness!

Binah is a Sephira of the Supernal Realm, and an aspect of the Womb of the Goddess.  In the context of the Thelemic Pantheon, we speak now of the Goddess Babalon the Beautiful and Her Cup.  She is a lower aspect of the Great Goddess Nuit, just as the Cup of Babalon is a lower aspect of Nuit’s Chalice.

All below Binah manifests from the Supernals.  Chesed is an extension of Binah.  The Supernals abide therein, and in all the Sephiroth below.  As a result, the current of the Flaming Sword flows naturally from Binah to Chesed and down the rest of the Tree of Life.  May this assist in dispelling any and all notions of the Great Abyss.  There is no separation between man and God, except in the consciousness of man.

The Flaming Sword is a Symbol of Adepthood.  As has been explained in the paper issued by the Sanctuary entitled “The Arrow (Most Holy, Showing the Way)”, an Adept embodies the Little Tree.  In the course of evolution, this Little Tree is “broken”, and the Adept embodies temporarily the Great Tree.  As the Childe truly attains to the Holy Third Order, even the Great Tree is dissolved as the Childe’s vessel is emptied and filled with the Prana or Essence of the Great Mother in Binah.  The Childe is then able to enter the Supernal Realm as the Great Mother.  As the Childe evolves as the Woman, into the Scarlet Woman, the Childe partakes of the Fire of the Man.  The “dust” of the Childe is burnt to a White ASh, and placed in an Urn in the Tomb of the All-Father.  Another transfer of Prana then occurs, and the Childe’s vessel is emptied and filled with the Essence of the Man. The Childe then Becomes the Man, and is able to enter the Supernal Realm as the All-Father, a Holy King and the Supernal Man (Adam Qadmon).

Each Step on the Royal Path of Initiation encompasses all prior Steps.  All prior Initiations are exalted by the next Initiation.  They may be recalled as necessary or appropriate.  In this Way, the Tau of the Supernal Tree in Ygdrasil is formulated forming a “Stairway to Heaven”.  The Stairway may be ascended only by a Childe who has been Initiated in each Step.  The first Step up the Staircase, which begins with the Square of the Ten, may be taken only by an Initiate who has equilibrated the 4 against the 8, and the 5 against the 7.  After the Square of the 10, the next Step up the Staircase is the Square of the 9, then the 6, then the 3, then the 2 and then the One.  All Hail our God in Ygdrasil.

From the Square of the One, the Childe may behold Nuit’s Chalice, Most Holy.  The Light and Love of the Chalice flow through to formulate the Blade.  The Ateph Crown is thereby formulated as well as the Plane, from which the Childe of Chokmah derives His Wisdom.

As all Initiations encompass all prior Initiations, the Childe of Chokmah is also a Childe of Binah but more exalted.  He expresses Will.  However, He also “receives” from Above.  The Childe of Chokmah still abides on the Briatic Plane, which shows an aspect of “receiving” and then “expressing”.  There is Union above the Abyss.  However, the Childe of Chokmah still has a “perspective” from Chokmah.  He has not attained to Kether as of yet.

As Becoming ceases and the Childe enters into Being, the Childe attains the “perspective” of Kether.  Kether is a positive manifestation in the Womb of Nuit, and from this perspective is Male.  Thus we see the attribution to Hadit.  Kether is formulated and moved by the Chalice.  Thus, It also has a Female aspect.  It then expresses both a Male aspect to Chokmah and a Female aspect to Binah.  The Light and Love of the Chalice abide in the Childe of Kether, which is expressed in all aspects of the Childe’s Life.  The Invisible Sun of Kether, beheld as Hadit and the Sigil of Aemeth (the Seal of the God of Truth), beams in the Core of the Childe.

We now speak of the Caduceus, which is the Wand of Mercury and a Symbol of Healing.  This is bestowed by Nuit upon the Childe of Kether to Heal.  This Healing is of the Childe, who has entered into Being but not yet attained to Nuit, and also of all those who the Childe encounters in the Work.  This Healing may be of a spiritual nature, as well as physical.  Thus we may see great miracles of Healing performed on those who shall be Healed.  It is not the Childe who Heals, but Her in Her many Holy Names.  The Childe of Kether expresses the Serpent Power in its Purest Form, which by its Nature promotes Justice, Balance, Harmony, Love and Liberation.  The Childe embodies the Caduceus, with the bottom of the Wand beginning at the Muladhara Chakra or near where Yesod would be on an embodied Tree.  The tails of the Serpents begin at the hips, and extend through where Netzach and Hod would be on an embodied Tree.  They intertwine below and then wrap around the Core of the Childe, where Tiphareth would have been on an embodied Tree, which is now where the Invisible Sun of Kether Shines within the Childe.  The Serpents intertwine again just below the neck and extend up the neck around the inside of the head and meet again at the shaft of the Wand extending up through the center of the Natal Crown.  The Heads of the Serpents look up for movement.  The Chalice connecting to the Blade forming the Jewel in the Center of the Crown moves All.  This point of connection appears as the Winged Globe atop of the Wand.  When the Childe is called to the Higher Planes, the Serpents may “unwind” back down to the shoulders and extend outward forming “Wings” which move the Childe to Commune with the Most High.  And so the Caduceus is beheld and embodied, initially by the Childe of Kether, and also by a Childe who has attained unto Nuit and Not-Being.

The Caduceus replaces the Flaming Sword in evolution.  It further shows the Nature of the Work of those who embody It.  Amen.

Love is the Law, Love under Will.
